The Journal of Petroleum Science and Technology, as a multidisciplinary open access online journal affiliated with Research Institute of Petroleum Industry (RIPI), covers the fields of petroleum and natural gas exploration, production, refining, synthesis and application of catalysts and chemical additives in petroleum and gas industry, application of nanotechnology (nanotubes, nanofibers, and nanoparticles), biotechnology, and polymers in petroleum, energy and environment, and corrosion and publishes papers in the form of research articles, review papers, and research notes. The Journal of Petroleum Science and Technology is accredited by Iran Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology with the accreditation number of 1922557. The journal was accredited on April 17, 2013; however, the accreditation period is from April 2011 to April 2015, which means it applies to all the issues published to date.

 

The​ Journal of Petroleum Science and Technology publishes open access articles under the terms of the​ Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) License​ which permits use, distribution and reproduction in any medium provided the original work is properly cited.
